Full registration to the 115th Annual IACP Conference is limited to IACP Members, their non-member guests and family members, and exhibitors. Sworn officers and civilian empolyees of law enforcement agencies (local, regional, state, federal) can register for the One-Day Pass and the free Exhibit Hall Pass.
The Annual IACP Conference & Exposition is a CLOSED show. To qualify for the Exhibit Hall Pass or One-Day Pass the recipient must work for the government or a law enforcement agency and will be required to show credentials upon arrival. This ensures a high buyer/seller ratio. The IACP reserves the right to refuse ineligible registrations.
Advance Registration
To take advantage of discounted registration fees complete the registration form and return to the IACP with payment or register online through September 9, 2008. Beginning September 10, 2008 ONLY online registrations will be accepted. Higher registration fees will apply. Mail or Fax Forms: IACP accepts either mailed or faxed forms (prior to September 10, 2008). Please attach a check or government purchase order when mailing your form. If paying with a credit card, please complete the credit card information and be sure to sign the authorization line. Do not mail and fax your credit card information, as charges may be duplicated. When sending a purchase order, please enclose an addressed return envelope. A confirmation will be sent to each registrant in the mail. On-line Registration: To register on-line using a credit card, go to the IACP Website’s Annual Conference page (www.theiacpconference.org). Once your registration is processed, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. Online registration will be open through the conference.
2008 Registration Fees
Registration fees must accompany the registration form; payment may be made by check, credit card or purchase order. Advance and on-site registration fees will be accepted in U.S. funds only and must be drawn on a U.S. bank. All credit card payments will be processed at IACP Headquarters in U.S. funds.

+Family refers to a spouse or family member, not a business associate or fellow law enforcement colleague. ONLY the family member’s name, city, and state will appear on their badge. Family members do not receive certificates for workshops.

Cancellations/Transfers
All cancellations must be made in writing and mailed, faxed (703-836-4543), or e-mailed (conf2008@theiacp.org) to IACP headquarters. No telephone cancellations will be accepted. A service charge will apply. For all cancellations, including guests, postmarked or fax/e-mail dated on or before October 16, 2008, registration fees will be refunded less a $50 service charge; cancellations postmarked or fax/e-mail dated between October 17 – November 5 will be assessed a $75 service charge. No refunds made on or after November 6, 2008. No refunds will be given for no-shows. It will take a minimum of six weeks to receive a refund. With appropriate written justification a 50% refund may be issued for cancellations received at IACP headquarters on or after November 6, 2008. Registration may be transferred to another person in your organization by written request to IACP prior to October 10, 2008. After this date all changes must be made on-site. Additional charges may apply.
On-Site Registration
On-site registration opens Friday, November 7 at 1:00 p.m. at the San Diego Convention Center, 111 West Harbor Drive, San Diego, California, USA.
Membership
SAVE over 24% off the Non-member rate – Join the IACP & Register at the First Timer Rate
Non-members, wishing to join the IACP to take advantage of the First Timer Member registration fee, can submit the $120 dues along with the First Time Member Registration fee. Simply complete the registration form, including the membership portion, and enclose the payment of $340. Law enforcement professionals at every level can qualify for membership in the IACP. Those in sworn command-level positions qualify for active membership; others may be eligible for associate membership. See the IACP website for details. Non-members can also join online with a credit card. Those joining online will need to wait up to 2 business days before submitting their conference registration online. All new members must be sponsored by a current “Active” member of the IACP by providing the “Active” member’s name and/or member number. Memberships and Registrations will not be processed without complete sponsor information. Only IACP members can take advantage of the member registration rate. All IACP memberships are individual and non-transferable for conference registrations member rates. A membership desk will be open on-site during registration hours. You may join IACP, renew your membership or make changes to your record. Membership dues are $120 (U.S.) annually.
Day Pass for Law Enforcement
Good for one day of your choice, the One-Day Pass for Law Enforcement Personnel will give you entry to the exhibits, General Assemblies, and educational sessions on that day. Nonmember sworn and civilian law enforcement employees are eligible. Each person may register for only ONE Day Pass. Day Pass Registration -- $50. Tickets to the annual banquet and/or Host Chief’s Night must be purchased separately. Registration for Day Passes will open online on September 10, 2008.
First Timer Members
IACP is extending a special invitation to all members that have not attended previous conferences. Come this year, and find out what you’ve been missing! We’re offering a special rate only for IACP members who will be attending the Annual IACP Conference in San Diego as their first conference. See what thousands of your colleagues enjoy every year - including the chance to network with each other. IACP members attending for the first time pay $220 in advance and $275 on site. This is a savings of 20%!
Exhibits Pass for Law Enforcement Personnel
Only sworn officers and civilian employees of law enforcement agencies can register for complimentary access to the exhibit hall. To qualify for this three-day exhibit hall-only pass, the recipient must work for the government or a law enforcement agency and will be required to show their credentials upon arrival. This pass is perfect for individuals whose duties involve evaluating, recommending or purchasing law enforcement equipment. The IACP reserves the right to refuse ineligible registrations.
